To change keyboards while texting, click the globe symbol below the capitalization button. Warning: to some phones (that are not iPhones), these texts may appear as symbols that make no sense.

3.) Add shortcuts to keyboard

Coming from someone who is (still) terrible at texting on the iPhone keyboard but is a stickler for full words in texts, this function is awesome.
